Replace your ANZ card

If your ANZ card is expired, expiring, damaged or not working, here’s how to get a new one quickly and what to expect.

How to order a replacement card online

To replace your card in the ANZ App

Make sure your address is up to date so your new card arrives without delay. You can update your address anytime in the ANZ App or Internet Banking:

Log in to the ANZ App.

Tap Support.

Tap Message us.

Let us know you need a ‘replacement card’ and follow the prompts.

How to replace your card in Internet Banking

Make sure your address is up to date so your new card arrives without delay. You can update your address anytime in the ANZ App or Internet Banking:

Log in to Internet Banking.

Select your credit card or account.

Choose Order a replacement card from the account actions list and follow the prompts.

Tip: Additional cardholders can request a replacement card in Internet Banking using the steps above.

Card expired or expiring?

A replacement card will be sent to your mailing address (unless requested otherwise) and should arrive by the third week of the month.

You can use your current card until your new one is activated. Once activated, your old card will deactivate and should be destroyed.

Please note:

  • If your card is more than 6 months from expiry, ordering a replacement won’t change the expiry date. If it’s within 6 months, your new card may have a later expiry date.
  • If your card is expiring, it will continue to work until the end of the expiry month.

Message us if it hasn’t arrived 7 days before month-end.

Tip: Unless your card has been reported as lost or stolen, your card number will remain the same. Your PIN will also stay unchanged unless you've requested a new one or updated it via the ANZ App. Your replacement card should be automatically updated in your Digital Wallet, so you can continue using it without interruption.
