ANZ Cheque Reconciliation Tool

Our cheque reconciliation tool is a great way to keep track of cheques you have written and the dates they have been presented.

Getting started with Cheque Reconciliation

You will need an account with a cheque facility and the cheque details.

How do I use the Cheque Reconciliation Tools?

Follow these steps to add, delete, and download cheque details:

How to Add a Cheque

Log in to ANZ Internet Banking

Select a cheque or savings account

Select Cheque reconciliation on the left. Then select add a new cheque

Enter the cheque number, date it was written, description, and amount

When you have finished adding your cheque(s) select the Save button

You will be returned to the "Cheque reconciliation" page and the cheques you have added will now be listed here

Note: You can enter five cheques at a time by selecting Add more cheques to my list.

No more than 100 cheques can be stored.

Presented cheques will display a date. If no date is shown, the cheque hasn't been presented yet. You can check again during your next log in.

How to Delete a Cheque

Log in to ANZ Internet Banking

Select a cheque or savings account

Select Cheque reconciliation on the left

Select Delete next to the cheque(s) you wish to delete

The cheque details will be deleted immediately

Note: No need to delete presented cheques. Deleted cheque details cannot be retrieved.

Once you have viewed a reconciled cheque, it will be deleted after you log off.

How to Download Cheque Details

Log in to ANZ Internet Banking

Select a cheque or savings account

Select Cheque reconciliation on the left

Select Download to CSV

The Cheque reconciliation list will then be downloaded (as a CSV file)

To keep a record of your cheques, print the page or download and save the details to your computer (as a CSV file) before you log off.

Select Print at the top of the page to start print. If there is no print icon in the top right corner please use your own browser's print function (Control + P).
